Hi, I'm milky_star.mp3. I am an emerging musician, writer and artist. I am self-driven by my love of my crafts and my urge for self-expression.

I create and perform music of many genres but mainly in pop, punk and musical theatre styles. Recently, I released an EP with 6 songs, in which I sung, played piano and ukulele and produced the tracks. I’m also creating handmade crafts, specifically clay figures which I am selling online and at anime and pop culture conventions. My goal is to build a following for my music, through performing at these conventions as well and with busking. By selling my clay creations, I hope to be able to make some extra money from something I really enjoy and find very relaxing.

I hope that in the future, I’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other musicians, and producers to help me create and perform types of music that I envision which I am currently unable to do by myself. While I am aware of the challenges and risks of failure of the creative arts industry, I am dedicated to forever building on my arts practices.

I am unique, as a young queer Asian Australian with endless creative ideas and visions. Specifically, I think there are specific aesthetics and styles that I have a deep passion for, which can make me stand out in the current Australian music industry. While I don’t know what specific audiences would be interested in my work, I tend to believe it would be people with similar interests to me. Therefore, I currently perform at anime and pop culture conventions which I have always enjoyed attending, hoping to reach an audience who may enjoy my music.
